Franklin University Switzerland is excited to announce the opening of the Tone Fitness Center (TFC), located in the newest building on campus, the McNeely Center of Ideas & Imagination. This modern facility, generously donated by founder Pascal Tone, enhances our campus with top-notch fitness resources, demonstrating our dedication to student health and well-being.

The TFC is equipped with a wide range of Technogym equipment, catering to students focused on strength training and cardio fitness. With weightlifting and cardio options, including treadmills and stationary bikes, the gym is designed to support students at all fitness levels. The open-space layout and contemporary design create an inviting environment, ideal for both experienced athletes and newcomers to fitness.

This new gym complements the existing Tone Athletic Center (TAC) on North Campus, which features an indoor sports court and strength and conditioning rooms. Together, these two facilities provide Franklin students with comprehensive fitness options, reinforcing our commitment to offering a well-rounded student experience.

Pascal Tone’s generous gift reflects his deep commitment to Franklin University Switzerland. As one of the university’s founders, Pascal Tone has been instrumental in shaping the institution's vision of providing a multicultural educational experience. His leadership as Franklin’s first President and later as Chairman of the Board of Trustees was essential in achieving full accreditation for the university in both Switzerland and the United States. In 2015, Tone received an honorary doctorate from Franklin, recognizing his enduring contributions.

As we welcome new and returning students for Orientation, we encourage everyone to explore the new Tone Fitness Center and make the most of the exceptional opportunities it offers for enhancing personal health and well-being. This facility stands as a symbol of Franklin’s ongoing commitment to excellence in all aspects of student life.
