President Samuel Martín-Barbero opened the event with a welcome speech, followed by three distinguished panels. The first panel, Implicazioni delle elezioni americane per la politica svizzera, was conducted in Italian and focused on the implications of the U.S. election for Swiss politics. The second panel delved into electoral campaigning and voting behavior, offering insights from international scholars in political science. The final panel explored the U.S. elections and the global order, discussing potential shifts in international relations and policies.
The event was moderated by Professors Bernd Bucher, Elisa Volpi, and Oliver Strijbis from Franklin’s Division of Communication, History, and Politics, showcasing Franklin’s expertise in social science and its commitment to providing a platform for academic discourse.
