Franklin University Switzerland is delighted to announce the appointment of Clotilde Malauzat as its new Chief Marketing Officer, effective January 2025. With a career spanning over 15 years in global marketing, higher education, and brand transformation, she will lead the Marketing and Communications strategy and operations. Clotilde will report to President Samuel Martín-Barbero and also joins the President’s Cabinet.
Prior to joining Franklin University Switzerland, Clotilde served as the Regional Director of Marketing, Acquisition, and Experience for the Middle East and North Africa at Inspired Education. In this role, she oversaw marketing and enrollment strategies across multiple markets, achieving notable growth and engagement. Prior to that, she was the Founding Director of Enrollment & Marketing Communications at the American University of Bahrain (AUBH), where she established the University’s enrollment and marketing departments. Her leadership later as Vice President of Marketing and External Affairs encompassed spearheading corporate partnerships and international market penetration.

Clotilde’s expertise extends beyond higher education, having collaborated with global cross-industry brands, ministries, and NGOs across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. Her skill set includes strategic branding, PR crisis management, and building and leading high-performing, multicultural teams. Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, with elementary knowledge of Spanish, Clotilde thrives in diverse and international environments, embodying the global perspective that defines Franklin University Switzerland.
