The entire Enrolment team has been extremely active this Fall as FUS slowly wraps up a hectic student recruitment season and navigates the peak undergraduate application reading season of the year.

Enrolment colleagues from North America and Switzerland have been on the road to nurture existing and explore new recruitment collaborations.

Over the past few months, the Lugano team has visited 21 countries and 40 cities mainly across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. This includes over 100 school visits, 23 school fairs, 4 Council of International Schools (CIS) fairs, 2 conferences, Swiss consulate information sessions, dozens of high school and independent counselor events, as well as virtual engagements and American University Abroad consortium (AUA) collaborations. Other members of the Franklin community such as alumni ambassadors have been active as well.

Meanwhile, FUS North America recruitment outreach activities have extended to 19 states and 69 cities in the US and Canada, including 226 school visits, numerous classroom and community presentations, and 80 school fairs.

Most recently, the VP of Admissions & Enrolment Management (Lucila Perez Mollo) and Senior Associate Director of Admissions (Petra Orent) represented FUS at the Council of International Schools (CIS) Global Admissions Forum, which took place at IE University in Madrid last month. During that time, over 600 professionals from the university and high school side were reunited.

With many schools reopening earlier this year, in-person recruitment events have now resumed. The Enrolment team continues to participate in innovative and impactful virtual initiatives that complement in-person outreach and include many members of the Franklin community (current students, faculty and staff).

Overall, there has been a 6% increase in admissions inquiries, a 62% increase in total applications started and a 42% increase in submitted applications for undergraduate programs so far this season.
