Celebrate Earth Day with the FUS Green Office!

The original Earth Day teach-ins of April 22, 1970, brought together students, educators, and everyday people to raise awareness about environmental harm. The Earth Day Summit, inspired by these sentiments, carries on the learning and action of Earth Day. We aim to create an engaging environment fit for learning, fostering connections, and building community.

The weekend-long conference brings together students, faculty, staff, and local community members to explore today’s most pressing sustainability issues through diverse lenses. Sustainability is for everyone, the Earth Day Summit celebrates the value of every discipline and every voice, underscoring that everyone has a stake in sustainability issues.

The theme this year is Green Cities! We will explore the concept from many angles through thought-provoking speakers, engaging activities, delicious meals, and topical discussions. Whether you're here to learn, share, or make connections within the community, there's a place for you at the Earth Day Summit!

DISCOVER WILD EUROPE

"Wild Europe is an NGO that tells stories about protecting wild places. We create films about the unseen heroes of environmental protection to give them a voice and to inspire others. We share these stories through film screenings, lectures, and photo exhibitions. We target young people by showing a diverse list of sustainable environmental-focused careers they can take in life."
