WHAT IS SPEAKERS' CORNER?
Speakers' Corner is a free mentoring program hosted in Lugano and coordinated by Lugano Living Lab (L*3) in collaboration with USI, SUPSI and FUS, designed specifically for university students eager to present projects effectively to companies, startups, and industry specialists. Through interactive and targeted meet-ups, this initiative provides a unique platform for showcasing outstanding theses, research, and field projects carried out by our talented students, including those from Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. levels across the three universities.
The Dual Purpose of Speakers' Corner
- Facilitate Professional Opportunities: Gain visibility among potential employers and partners, showcasing your ability to promote your ideas convincingly.
- Skill Development: Acquire crucial skills in presenting your research and theses, preparing you to make a strong impression on diverse audiences.
Throughout the academic year, you can participate in different meetings (one for each chosen theme) held at various prestigious locations in Lugano, presenting your work and interacting with key stakeholders in cultural, scientific, and community exchanges.
This initiative not only enhances your academic profile but also enriches the academic and professional ecosystem, fostering collaborations that bridge the gap between academia and the industry.
